As a physiotherapy practice, we process the following data of patients:
- Name, address, place of residence, date of birth and gender
- Contact details (phone number and email address)
- Citizen Service Number (BSN) for billing health insurers
- Health insurance details (insurer, policy number)
- Medical and treatment data (in the patient file)
- Appointment details
3. Why do we process this data?
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Providing physiotherapy care
- Maintaining a patient file (legal obligation under Dutch law, WGBO)
- Billing your health insurer
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Communication about your treatment
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on:
- Performance of a contract, the treatment agreement (WGBO)
- Legal obligation, the duty to retain medical records (15 years)
- Consent, for any other communication
5. How long do we retain your data?
We retain medical records for at least 15 years after the last treatment, in accordance with the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). Appointment data is retained for a maximum of 2 years.
6. Sharing with third parties
We only share your data with third parties when necessary:
- Health insurers, for billing treatments
- Other healthcare providers, only with your consent
- YouCanBookMe, for scheduling appointments (see their privacy policy)
We never sell your data to third parties.
7. Cookies and external services
Our website uses the following external services:
- YouCanBookMe, for online appointment management. They place functional cookies.
- ZorgkaartNederland, for displaying reviews.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can decline cookies via the cookie notice on our website.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. Our website uses a secure HTTPS connection.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access, you can request your file
